Earlier, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics revealed that the annual inflation rate in the United States was 3.4% in April, aligning with analysts' expectations and marking a slight decline compared to the 3.5% recorded in March.
The annual inflation rate in Italy clocked in at 0.8% in April, the Italian National Institute of Statistics (Istat) stated in its final report on Thursday, down from the provisional estimate of 0.9%. The figure came in below market estimates and lower than the March reading of 1.2%.
