执行董事拿督张珌瑞回应本地财经媒体《The Edge》时表示，该公司知道自家股价急挫，但今日跌势与公司的营运或基本面无关。

“我们需要强调，今日的股价变动，并不能反映本公司当下的营运状况或商业基本面。”

霹雳运通也在闭市后发文告澄清，该公司对股价异动的理由，并不知情。

“目前本公司依然营运如常，继续正常的经营及管理业务。”
