ksl fundamentally strong....they have plenty of projects ongoing. Then you can go to their social media and check, from May till today, they launched many projects. Also, their strategy is smart as they dont go for high end market. They target mass market. Who is the one who travelling daily to Singapore? Those who in middle income and cant get Singapore PR. So KSL is targeting this group of people. And if you do some research, you will realized that KSL's landed is more value for money. Most of the landed is 4 rooms 4 toilets where other developer normally 4R3T. Then their wet kitchen also fully extended for you. The buyer doesnt need to spend extra for extention. Also, you see their gate, the material they gave is stainless steel but other developer normally just give you normal steel which not as class as KSL. But KSL's landed selling price is much cheaper than others. So now put yourselves as a young buyer who earning 2-3k SGD. Will you buy KSL's project???? Because you only need minimum down payment and you no need huge renovation cost. Isn't suitable to all young buyer? And dont forget, this group of buyer is majority.
and why they can have such high net profit margin is because their land cost is cheap, and they most use cash to buy land. Hence, past few years they dont pay dividend. When they use cash to buy land, they save lot of interest. We as a shareholder, we enjoy the high net profit margin. So those who always comment the management stringy, they dont have the mindset of businessman. The management is using their cash to generate more money to shareholder.
plenite also not bad....market categorized it as JB counter but i dont like because i prefer KSL as it has higher potential. Also, recently management has briefed analyst that they are going to pay out 30% of net profit as dividend...let's assume this year they make RM400M, so 30% = RM120M. So each share will get around 0.11 cents and higher than the dividend of 0.08 this year.
if dividend to be announced next year for the financial ended 2025, another round of DRP may be enforced bcos khoo family will not willing to pay SST from cash dividend.
