Marcus , there is no right or wrong with other investing styles. Different people have different investing styles and trading plans. Believe me, I once a die hard to the core " Value investors". You see the stock as in "Value" while Meaw probably guessing " are the momentum with me or against me?". If you're saying which is the best fundamentals , market theories or technical. Why not take all of 3 of those tools? why limit yourself with 1 tools when you can access all 3 of em?

Well I feel you, facing this issue daily on futures comments. While chart patterns showing opposite (in a long term perspective). Good for you to grab it at 80sen. As they said, it is the best idea to listen yourself when trading, but it also your biggest enemy.
