try to dig deeper while you are waiting for opportunities :) this asset has quite a number of insti/funds in it. Recent selling pressure means there are some exchanges between funds/insti - perhaps rebalancing their position resulting in higher supply than demand. I am not surprised that its getting attention recently and perhaps its more to technical rather than fundamental. technically, its approaching SMA200 from a weekly chart perspective and you can expect some interest in this stock coming up. You need to be clear whether you are buying its technical chart or its fundamentals.

fundamentally, balance sheet is strong as usual, 3 star rated ESG which is ok, however - the dependency on HDD segment and two major customers remains the risk that should be watched closely. Recent inflationary pressure will probably impact its cogs too. the good thing is that mgmt is aware of it and have been working on risk mitigation by focusing on non-HDD segment; takes time if you will. Its selling at 18x earnings ratio right now and the question is whether is it attractive to you? If not, there is no rush. You can always wait for the next quarter report estimated in May to determine the impact of the inflationary pressure on its bottom line. just my opinions, could be wrong. hope it helps.

nice and disciplined trade setup with regards to gaps, The Rock. Makes sense if your entry is way higher. It maybe too tight without considering possible shake-out. Can consider lot size management based on risk/reward and allowing buyers/sellers to sort it out :)

hi 水魚, i have small long term position in Smetric. Small in such that the risk is negligible if Smetric fails to grow in the future. Long term is to give time to observe the development of its digital security solutions in the market where it has presence. after all, it has no debt concern at the moment and its rather a small company by means of market cap. Though its small, there are signs of constant capex spending and recent acquisition of stakes in an associate.

you are welcome, 水魚. just my opinions and could be wrong - if i am planning to trade the technical chart, i will firstly observe how well the support/demand is at 0.095 to 0.100 range. This is the low in Jun/Jul 2020 when the company issued the first pp at the price of 0.107. I will not rush it or trying to time the market bottom, but rather trade the technicality upon reversal.

all is well, chee :) thankful for the opportunity to initiate position in this asset and riding its experience in shipping/forwarding services; especially at a time when crude oil price is at high side. I am in the opinion it will do even better due to the need to be efficient - the need of intermodal transportation :) its mid to long term position and i am not worried about the price fluctuation.
