On 31 July 2024, the Board of Directors of CIMB Group Holdings Berhad had proposed a single-tier special dividend of 7.00 sen per ordinary share for the financial year ending 31 December 2024. Based on the issued and paid-up ordinary shares of 10,696,991,292 as at 30 June 2024, the proposed single-tier special dividend is amounting to approximately RM749 million. Upon the full exercise of vested Employees Share Option Scheme of up to 70,209,000 new ordinary shares under the Long-Term Incentive Plan, the proposed single-tier special dividend of 7.00 sen per ordinary share will amount up to approximately RM754 million. |
