| The actual number of Rights Shares to be issued pursuant to the Rights Issue would depend on the issued and paid-up share capital of the Company on the Entitlement Date taking into account any exercise of its existing warrants 2003/2008 and/or exchange of the RM575,000,000 nominal value of 10-year unsecured subordinated exchangeable bonds issued by AmBank (M) Berhad on or prior to the Entitlement Date. The underwriting agreement for the Rights Issue has been entered into on 19 November 2007. The abridged prospectus in relation to the Rights Issue will be dispatched to the entitled shareholders of AHB not later than three (3) markets days after the Entitlement Date. This announcement is dated 21 November 2007. |
