KUALA LUMPUR: The 10 member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) now face US import tariffs ranging from 10 to 40 per cent under Washington's latest trade measures.
Singapore's rate remains unchanged at 10 per cent. Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Cambodia were each assigned 19 per cent, while Vietnam received a 20 per cent tariff. Brunei was set at 25 per cent and the highest rates, 40 per cent, were imposed on Laos and Myanmar.
