KUALA LUMPUR: The local bourse rebounded following two days of losses as investors moved to seize opportunities.
The benchmark FBM KLCI closed at 1,549.11, up 0.23% or 3.62 points, taking its full-week gain to 1.01%.
On the broader market, sellers led buyers by 613 to 448, while 458 counters traded unchanged. Volume rose to 4.07 billion shares, valued at RM3.2bil.
Top gainers, YTL Corp rose 32 sen to RM2.47, YTL Power gained 24 sen to RM4.02. Both the counter contributed a total of 7.9158 points to the index.
