KUALA LUMPUR: Integrated health supplement company Bioalpha Holdings Bhd has appointed Datuk Mohd Yazid Mustafa as its new independent non-executive chairman effective today.
This appointment follows the retirement of Tan Sri Dr Syed Jalaludin Syed Salim as chairman of the company on June 7.
Mohd Yazid brings with him a rich background in law, backed by a distinguished career in the Malaysian judiciary system.
Before assuming his role as Bioalpha chairman, he served as a High Court judge for 15 years.
Following his retirement in December 2022, Mohd Yazid continued to contribute to public service as a Court of Appeal judge at the Terengganu Syariah Court.
Bioalpha has also appointed Tan Su Ning, who is a lawyer by training, as its independent non-executive director today.
