At the AGM, JAKS mentioned that they are participating in the tender for LSS5+ and BESS. Do they have a good chance this round?

Based on the announcement, the MOU with CALB was not extended and lapsed on 2 May. I don't think the BESS project has any chance now.

500MW might be too ambitious for JAKS. Hopefully, they can secure at least 200MW, or in the worst case, build 100MW on their own. JAKS urgently needs a new source of income

Repayment of debts could also be a major issue, so additional income is necessary. If JAKS wins the LSS5+ project, startup capital shouldn't be a problem since CPECC is involved
