TM have been doing VSS for so many years now. The first time TM started to give one shot payment to employee opted to retire early through VSS. That didn't work out well. TM instead lost many good employees and they didnt actually retire. They went and work for other companies instead e.g. Maxis, Celcom, Digi and all. This time around they are having difficulties getting employees to get onaboard with their program. Payment will be made incrementally as though they are still working in TM and there are many disputes, I am sure. In the end, TM will still get what they want but not as much as they want.

hehehehee... No la.. TM built our telecommunication network long before Maxis, Celcom, Digi, TIME and others enter the market. These companies has to apply for license to MCMC if they want to use air wave including TM. The difference between TM and others is that TM also do wholesale. They purchase telecom equipment in bulk and sell them locally. Now, telecom system doesnt require high electrical unit e.g. interchange and etc.. TM doesnt need high manpower anymore.. computer does all the work nowadays..

True. From the beginning of their existence companies like Maxis, Celcom and the like, they asked too much.. e.g.equal access and etc.. They are where they are today is because TM made a lot of sacrifices. Now, Maxis, Celcom,Digi has no where to go while companies like ASTRO willing to work with TM to expand their online streaming business, Pay per View, Home shopping, channel renting and etc.. TM is still revelant in future especially in high density 5G and 6G..
