Prospects
The COVID-19 situation remains variable and is anticipated to remain so over the coming
quarters. Consumer demand remains relatively stable and shows some fluctuates in relation to
the current phase of recovery. The Group takes a cautiously optimistic outlook on the remainder
of the year with demand expected to remain at current levels, although this is dependent on no
significant deterioration of the COVID-19 situation.
Overall, market demand has proven relatively stable and even in areas with short-term
disruption recovery comes quickly. Therefore, we continue to focus on new business acquisition,
cost efficiency improvements, working capital management, and other growth initiatives while
closely monitoring the short-term outlook to ensure prudent navigation of the current situation.
The medium and long-term outlook remains positive, and the Group is well positioned for growth
post-COVID-19
10 cents dividend payout was on the 5th Aug :) you should have received it. Strong recovery with 6 months net profit almost matching/better than recent yearly net profit. Good timing to address liquidity of the stock?
Congrats on your DKSH positions. Yes, it is nice. A recognition towards the group’s capabilities. This is the 3rd vaccines distributions in Asia for DKSH group; the other two is Sinovac for Thailand and Medigen for Taiwan. The Auric Pacific acquisition parked under DKSH Malaysia nailed it and generating growths; a very successful acquisition. It will be better moving forward if the mgmt will address the liquidity of the stock soon :)
Thanks, Jaffery and Ah Choon. All is well, Ah Choon. You still made a gain out of it. Have faith in your analysis. And you can still leverage the analysis and replan your move. Right now, it’s weakness of being illiquid is it’s strength now. While the standard answer of share price is subjected to external force and beyond their control :), I believed the mgmt will still have to address its liquidity situation for the long run. For the benefits of long term shareholders, the company and new shareholders, if you will.
It’s your own patience, Eng Hock. Keep it up. And your faith in DKSH mgmt pays off with nice gains - both capital gains and dividend. Cheers and enjoy your weekends :)
Hi Eng Hock, only IBs can issue tp :) I would suggest you follow your own initial plan. If your emotion is running high, it’s best to manage it if you intends to hold for a longer duration by rebalancing your position. Example: selling some to lock in your profits and lower your actual average further. Focus on your analysis that led you to investing in DKSH which yielded success and keep repeating it:) The liquidity of this stock has to be addressed in the long term and until then, it is its strength riding on the recent strong results plus the Cansino storage/distribution. If there are no changes to its liquidity, it will become its weakness in due time. just my opinions, could be wrong. Hope it helps.
