c. Types of vaccine – Malaysia has approved the types that have good data only
i. he gave an example of Sputnik (from Russia) – which doesn’t have
good real life data – that’s why delayed in registration and still not
approved
ii. Sinopharm – where those who have taken don’t have antibodies
in them (which means level of protection is doubtful)
f. Foreign Workers – he and the Vaccine committee (by YB KJ) – will get all
of them – regardless of whether registered or PATI – to be given the
single shot vaccine – CanSino or Johnson & Johnson variety
WHO supposed to approve 2 more...wonder which 2...but to sign a term sheet with MOH and get approval for emergency use...they should be very confident..
