All glove stocks drop near oversold but still have room to go down, if tomorrow big down again might stage for technical rebound. UK and France said doubt of the vaccine effectiveness but producers said 90% proven. Don't know how true but investors react fastly since near and nearer of confirm vaccine.
Kyory Genting imo is the most hopeful in two years time, but it still needs to go through a major drop following its next quarter report release, which will be a very ugly loss. That said, once covid settles down, genting business will surely improve significantly, and more importantly the market will react crazily with a major rally
好学 you means Qtr 3 results that going to announce end of this month will be very ugly? Just my opinion I think Qtr 3 shall have improvement or profit (don't count any impairment if got ) as the worst quarter shall be Qtr 2 due to full lock down and high cost. Qtr 3 shall have reflect the cost optimisation (globally retrenched more than 6,000 staff) and improvement of casino revenue due to opening in July 2020.
@Kyory, TG have been repaying their loans, be it long term/ short term, it'll be interesting to see this coming quarter will they repay additional loans. Right now, TG is otw to become self sustainable n should start to become a dividend payment company as u can see they've been active in share buyback. By reducing loan, it'll also be easier for them to expand in other areas. Their liability mostly from Contract Liability, could mean customer down paym for glove
no point trying to predict what's going to happen when vaccine is out, either vaccine is out or not, doctors nurses still need to use glove on a daily basis. Even when vaccine is out, doctors and nurses still need to use glove to inject the vaccine. They're both co-exist with each other. Demand might slow down post Covid, but by that time, TG BS will look so much more healthier. Rest if up to you to monitor what's TG plan, make sure they don't simply acquire here and there
@ Hi Chill, no doubt TG is good company and I have full trust on TS Lim leadership. Definitely its will continue grow. On share buyback it is normally done due to the company have extra cash and do not forseen any good opportunity to invest in others comparing own company shares. So normally the shares bought is either use for future bonus shares or cancel off the shares so the EPS will increase.
