Not 1 day lah. Bought on Monday expecting for jackpot. Not going to sell off as dividend already 27k. As long as did not dip down> 2.45 I still earn. Hopefully share price adjusted back to 2.30 region after payout.
KC Chia as long as you hold the stock by 30th July, you will receive the dividend. Double check with your remisier that you have registered your dividend credit account
Technically, you don't have to hold it till 30th, you just have to hold the stock from 30th to 31st. Meaning you can sell now and buy back on 30th and hold it overnight and sell it on 31st (shortest holding period to be entitled to the dividend).
@chris when you purchase a stock, there is a T+2 when you actually settle the payment for the purchase. You check your e-contract statements, I use CIMB. Can check with your remisier also
