Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as previously defined in the earlier announcement in relation to the same.

Reference is made to the Company’s circular to shareholders dated 3 June 2021 and the announcements dated 14 April 2021 and 16 August 2021 in respect of the above matter.

The Board of Director of the Company is pleased to announce that Jayamas Mining Sdn. Bhd. had on 6 March 2024 notified the Company that the Department of Environment of Malaysia, vide its letter dated 4 March 2024, had approved the environmental impact assessment report on an independent assessment of the conditions of the environmental features and their consequent impact in connection with the proposed development and operation of heap leaching and carbon-in leach gold mining processing facilities on the 547.4 hectares Sokor North Area, subject to certain terms and conditions contained in the said letter.
