The Board of Directors of HEXZA ("the Board") wishes to announce that our current External Auditors, Messrs Deloitte PLT (“DELOITTE”), had on 27 February 2024 (“Date of Notice”), given a notice in writing to the Board of Directors of their resignation as Auditors of the Company. The resignation of DELOITTE is on voluntary and based on the mutual consent of both parties.  The Board is not aware of any matter that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

Pursuant to Section 281(2) of the Companies Act 2016 ("CA 2016"), DELOITTE’s term of office will end after twenty-one (21) days from 27 February 2024. 

In view of the resignation of DELOITTE, the Board has proposed to appoint Messrs Crowe Malaysia PLT (“CROWE”) as the new auditors of the Company for the financial year ending 30 June 2024.

However, the appointment is subject to the Company receiving the written consent to act as Auditors of the Company from CROWE pursuant to Section 264(5) of the Companies Act 2016 ("Written Consent").

Further announcement will be made by the Company once the Written Consent is received.
