(Unless otherwise defined, defined terms used in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the announcements dated 22 May 2023, 13 June 2023, 3 July 2023, 24 July 2023, 28 July 2023, 31 July 2023, 29 August 2023, 6 November 2023, 16 November 2023 and 17 November 2023 in relation to the Proposals (“Announcements”).)

We refer to the Announcements in relation to the Capital Reduction.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Ygl, Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Ygl had on even date, received the notice dated 5 December 2023 issued by the Registrar of Companies confirming that on 30 November 2023 all requirements with respect to the reduction of share capital of the Company as stated in the special resolution dated 29 August 2023 has been complied with (“Notice”).

Pursuant to Section 119(4) of the Companies Act 2016 (“Act”), the Notice shall be conclusive evidence that all the requirements of the Act with respect to the reduction of share capital have been complied with. Accordingly, the Capital Reduction is effective and shall be deemed completed as at 5 December 2023.
