MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEPS-JV (MELAKA) SDN BHD ("PJVM") WITH GREAT WALL MOTOR SALES MALAYSIA SDN BHD ("GWM") ("MOU")

We refer to EPMB’s announcement dated 18 October 2023 in respect of the aforesaid matter.
                                       

In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Securities with the following additional information for public release:

1. The principle business activities of GWM and Great Wall Motor Company Limited respectively.
2. The directors and substantial shareholders of Great Wall Motor Company Limited.
3. Whether any definitive agreement to be entered into between the parties and the tentative timeframe to enter into such agreement.
4. The date PJVM commenced its business operations.
5. The details of other relevant authorities’ approvals, permits and licenses required, other than the manufacturing license from the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia (“MITI”), to assemble and manufacture vehicles under the MOU.
6. The date PJVM obtained the manufacturing license from MITI.
7. The types of vehicles to be assembled and manufactured pursuant to the MOU.
