Unless stated otherwise, the terms used herein shall carry the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Proposed Private Placement. We refer to the earlier announcements dated 30 August 2023, 1 September 2023 and 6 September 2023 in relation to the Proposed Private Placement. On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the Board has decided to abort the Proposed Private Placement. The decision of the Board was made after reassessing the Group's financial position and the Board is reconsidering the Group's fund-raising exercises to meet its financial commitments. In relation thereto, UOBKH had on even date submitted an application to Bursa Securities to withdraw the listing application in relation to the Proposed Private Placement.
