Further to the Company’s announcement dated 4 October 2022, the Board of Directors wishes to provide the following additional information in relation to the Winding-Up Order:- 1. Financial and operational impact The Winding-up Order and the appointment of Liquidator, if successful, the Company would be placed into liquidation and would cease operation and its financial affairs would be overseen by a liquidator to be appointed by the Court. 2. The expected loss arising from the Winding-Up Order Save for the claim for the defaulted outstanding payment of USD38,187,513.33 together with costs awarded by the High Court owing to the Petitioner, as well as the legal fees to be incurred to appeal against the Winding-up Order, the Company does not expect any other losses to be incurred from the Winding-up Order. This announcement is dated 5 October 2022. |
