Mr. Abdul Razak bin Abu Bakar was the Chief Credit Administration and Banking Operations Officer of Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad ("Bank Rakyat") until September 2025. He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, covering credit administration, recovery and collection, business and commercial banking, structured finance, and corporate finance.

He joined Bank Rakyat in 2012 and has since served in various senior leadership roles including Chief Recovery and Collection Officer, Chief Business Banking Officer, Senior Vice President of Corporate Banking, and Assistant General Manager of Commercial Banking.

Prior to joining Bank Rakyat, he held senior positions in Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, OCBC Bank Berhad, and RHB Bank Berhad, and earlier served with Maybank Group (Aseambankers/Aseamlease) as well as Azman Wong Salleh & Co.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Putra Business School, Universiti Putra Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from Universiti Utara Malaysia. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF).
