to be fair, 2024 hasn't been kind to most building materials stocks, esp those related to steel.
This one confirm will fly. I work in the IT industry and many banks use their services. Telcos too. Reputation is good.
Later when data centres are up and running.. biz lagi good coz more companies need their services to make sure all the data is integrated.
Eric: if u understand wholesale/distribution/trading biz.. then allocating funds to working capital is also some form of expansion. In wholesale, U need more working cap to grow the biz. MD said will increase product range and also bring in new products using the working cap. As for borrowings, after repay .. they said will save RM1-2m interest.
Btw i only share what i heard ya .. dont scold me if u dont agree. Unitrade doing ipo roadshow now so u can also go listen yourself if u want. Open to public one.
I happened to listen in to Unitrade ipo briefing on Rakuten. Me no expert but can share some info i heard.
Jazz M: Mgmt commented on gearing during briefing. After listing gearing come down to 1x. For trading company .. 1x shld be ok la. Plus they also explain most borrowing is short term trade financing.
Building mat stocks now record high profit.. later after GE, construction stocks will do well.. by right building mat shld also do well.
Bro, actually building materials stocks are making record profit ler. Check out AYS, Hiaptek, Engtex. Unitrade also record profit. The trend shld continue.. most commodity price still sibeh high.
Compare WA and PA.. PA seems to be still better deal. 1 PA 10sen+cash 20 sen=30 sen. 1 warrant 7 sen + tender cash 22 sen = 29sen.
Tho PA is higher by 1 sen, but got 5 years time, got better chance to be in the money.. warrant pulak gonna expire in 7 mths. hmmm..
