High oil price will not benefit Iran due to the sanctions, TN. Just my personal opinions - Trump thought he ate and wanted to repeat US Iraq war style - uprising within Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein. At one point - there's news of Trump promoting Kurdish militant groups to strike Iran - pretty obvious trying to incite uprising. Trump underestimated Iran :)

His nominated US Fed chair will have to work harder now as high oil price will not be good for rate cuts. Lol, no pun intended. Jul and Sep rate cut trending showing less than 50% possibility of a 25 basis point cut. pretty low.
