PLYTEC’s segment performance was mixed, with BMD remaining the largest contributor at RM20.94m despite a slight decline. CME and DDE fell due to project completion and fewer handovers, while PC grew strongly by 61.7%. The standout was PMCP, surging 63.5% to RM4.48m, supported by new manufacturing capacity and exports to international markets
Vanzo improved profitability despite a slight year-on-year revenue decline, with gross profit margin rising from 53.4% to 60.3% due to strategic pricing and a stronger focus on higher-margin products. Net profit also increased 32.1% quarter-on-quarter to RM1.59 million, supported by lower costs and an improved product mix. Meanwhile, the RM14 million IPO proceeds have been fully utilised for business expansion, debt repayment, working capital, and listing expenses.
