KUALA LUMPUR: The benchmark FBM KLCI was flat at midday even as global technology stocks rallied on buying interest sparked by Nvidia's stellar results.
At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI was up 0.99 points to 1,546.48 while the broader market turned negative with 543 decliners to 380 gainers and 436 unchanged.
The trading volume was 2.32 billion shares valued at RM1.5bil.
Bursa Malaysia's technology sector gained 0.2% to 67.76, after having already rallied over 3% in the previous session following the release of Nvidia's results.
