Uncle agree with Paul Paul here...when you buy a home to live with your family you will scout the place first betul it's called scuttlebutt in investing unless it's just a trade with small amount and no ultimate conviction then you can just buy since it's a fraction of the portfolio betul

The second announcement is a summary of buybacks from 14 Jul 2026 to 27 Jul 2026, showing:
Total shares bought back: 29,405,000 shares
Total amount spent: RM9,012,260.92
Price range: RM0.280 – RM0.330
The first announcement shows the 28 Jul 2026 buyback:
Shares bought back: 4,425,500 shares
Price: RM0.310 – RM0.320
Amount spent: RM1,408,069.01
Updated comparison
Total buybacks up to 27 Jul: 29.405 million shares
Total major shareholder disposals (EPF, KWAP, abrdn, etc.): about 28.5–29.0 million shares
This means SKPRES has now effectively matched or slightly exceeded the total disclosed institutional disposals.
The fact that 28 Jul's announcement was only a buyback, with no corresponding disposal announcement, is encouraging. It suggests:
The heavy institutional selling may have largely finished.
The company is still actively buying shares at RM0.31–0.32, indicating management believes the current valuation is attractive.
With selling pressure easing, the share price has a better chance to recover if buying interest returns.
If there are no new major shareholder disposals in the coming days, this would be one of the more positive developments for SKPRES since the recent sell-down.

Based on the latest announcements and substantial shareholder filings:
SKPRES share buybacks (22 Jun–22 Jul 2026): approximately 18.56 million shares repurchased (1.0m + 1.4m + 4.0m + 4.3m + 2.985m + 1.25m + 3.62m).

Disposals by major shareholders (EPF, KWAP, abrdn and others): based on the filings we've been tracking, total disposals are roughly in the same range, around 18–19 million shares.
So, the buybacks have essentially absorbed almost all of the institutional selling. If your observation is correct that Friday's filing showed only buybacks and no further disposals, it suggests the heavy selling may have finished, while the company is still supporting the share price through buybacks. That would generally be a more constructive signal, although future price movement will still depend on earnings, market sentiment, and whether new sellers emerge.
