RHB RESEARCH (SEPT 30): Yinson Holdings Bhd’s (KL:YINSON) first-half FY27 (ended January) core net profit of RM263 million (+43% y-o-y) accounts for 30% and 40% of our and consensus FY27 forecasts. We deem the results as in line — earnings are typically back-end loaded, supported by higher recurring charter contributions, annual charter escalations and potential project wins in the later part of the year.
The owner already engaged operator to press down its price as low as possible in order for them to privatise the company cheaply at the expense of minority shareholders. So why bother the unrealistic TP given by IB?
