Next week will be the 2QR released and hopefully a surprise or better QR than previous 1Q…

I doubt so will have any surprise. Maybe will be slightly better than 1st QR, but doubt any fly to the moon result. I think we will only start to see some good results in 2nd half of the year. The upcoming QR is 2nd Quarter (Apr, May, & June'2026)

Did U notice we get extra dividend of 0.85 sen payment in Nov...it means that there is gonna be 2nd interim dividend to be declared by beginning of 2027...So total dividend we get for 2026 is 1.3+2.0+0.85= 4.05 Sen in total...Which is verry impressive!!!

Tat translate to a dividend yield of at least 9.3% for 2026 if based on closing price of 0.435...This is an attractive dividend stock...Reiterate BUY!

It is not a norm for LBS to issue dividend within the same year as the current financial year. Historically they would declare dividend after year ends closing, with exception of special dividend. While I welcome the dividend payout, I would much rather they keep the money for reinvestment, given the challenging economic times we are in right now. LBS order book has been dwindling and so are their revenues & net profit. Either the Management is very confident of future projects to come that they are willing to issue this latest dividend or they have nothing much ahead and this latest dividend announcement is to try to retain investors & not cause investors to panic. LBS has many potential projects but it is always delayed or postpone. Till date, the Solar Farm project has yet to be completed. It was stated to complete in December 2025, and now is already Aug 2026. Apart from this the Management should really take it seriously to find more recurring income and reduce heavy reliance on Property Development & Constructions.

Whatever it is, it outperformed Fund invested in KWSP 9.3% Vs 6.1%...thus I would rather invest in LBS to enjoy its attractive high dividend yield...

I rather they keep the special dividend and use that money to fund for Kwasa Development or exploring recurring income business.

Based on yesterday the chairman comments, 2H wouldn’t be that rosy. LBS could further delay certain projects due to the current market sentiment.

Commenting on the results, LBS group executive chairman Tan Sri Ir Dr Lim Hock San said, “Market conditions continue to be influenced by geopolitical developments and persistent cost pressures, while homebuyers are adopting a more considered approach to their purchasing decisions.

“In response, we are pacing our launches in line with market demand and assessing each project based on its product positioning, pricing and timing.
“We remain disciplined in our launch planning and will not bring projects to market solely to meet predetermined timelines.”

He added, “While profit contribution moderated during the period, the group remained profitable and financially resilient.
