Pension funds like KWAP have so many share counters in their portfolio. They sell shares does not necessarily mean the counter is bad, it could be to raise funds for other investments in bond markets, future markets or could simply be a payout to its members. Despite of their sell, they are still a major shareholder in LBS and what they sold, the Management has bought back most of it also. Is always best to read & see for yourself the Company performance and not rely solely on what KWSP do
Because they want to collect more cheap tickets from ikan bilis at lower price, so they have to create panicking by pulling down the price. When the market sentiment is turning good then they will sell back to ikan bilis at higher price.
If LbS is good, if they still can manage to sell down and break the support, then I have nothing to say already. The problem now is LbS don’t have any strong support level
Bro, I understand your frustration. You are not the only one stuck on 7th floor. I too am stuck on same level and so are a number of other retail investors. In any investment there are ups and downs. The Company cannot control its market price as this is all based on sentiment. It is important to stay calm and not panic. Do your own reading on the Company, its Directors, past & future projects, track records, and perhaps also visit some of their properties. Do all this and if you still cannot see any potential or hope in this Company, then perhaps you may consider to take a loss from this counter. Some retail investors can see its true potential, so they keep holding, while those that cannot see it, eventually jump ship. Is hard to say, maybe it will take another year, or maybe another 3-5 years before its true value surface. We will never know, as it may be a long wait....all I know is that I have done my due diligence on this Company and I choose to hold until that day comes.
If say you can't take it anymore, at the very least wait until after 28th August 2025 (ex-date), for the final dividend. At the very least collect the dividend payout to help cut some of your losses should you decide to jump ship.
bro alfred loo...how to check we layak divident or not??i bought before this stocks before 3jun and i sell it after 1 days ex date...their will send email if we layak?
There is no email notification to inform or confirm of eligibility.
As long as you hold the share until ex-date, then it is already registered as eligible. All you have to do is wait until payment date to receive the dividend. Sometimes dividend payment may not necessary be paid on the dot on payment date and might be one or two days later depending on the broker bank or trading platform you register with, as they are the ones that will process your dividend payment and not the Company.
