Singapore Airlines has a market cap of S$19.77 billion. AAX has a market cap of 786.85 million. After the acquisition of Air Asia Group, AAX will have a fleet size of 249 planes (200 in service, 49 parked) where as Singapore Airlines has a fleet size of 159 planes (146 in service, 13 parked). And y'all aiming for a price target of RM2 when it could be RM10 - RM20. Made a lot of sense when Tony said he wanted to list in US stock market, because there's no Wall Street Bets here.
Everyone needs to fly and Airasia is definitely crucial for all, regardless of the delay issues and etc. we cant just depends on Mas considering the ticket costs and flight timing availability. I travel very often for work and I totally can see the situation. Its not that I cant afford to take Mas flight, its just more economical and feasible with Airasia. Those who not working cant really understand this and probably still living under the bubble. Time to grow up, earn a living and make the right choice
