IBs they issue warrant, and many on the ways to expired.They have to borrowed share to press the share price down.if not they will lose a lots of money.

investment bank will try to minimize their lost by all mean. but if you are a long term investor,that may be a chance.

investment bank have their way to borrow share by paying a little bit of cost.depends on how many days they borrow. of course they have to cover back may be after thier warrant expire.
