it counts on exdate if u hold it, but bear in mind next opening the share price will deduct the dividend distributed out..

Amendment: It should be 1.13 after deducting the dividend declared (deduct 5 cents) if the last day price before ex is 1.18 (August 20)

1000 unit *0.0423 = 42.3
