CLARIFICATION STATEMENT

1. Upon thorough investigations, we have ascertained that a user account on our Website and our App, by the name of “Md Abdul Karim” (hereinafter referred to as the “Account”) was in fact created by an impersonator who impersonated Dato’ Mohd Abdul Karim Bin Abdullah (“Dato Karim”) of Serba Dinamik Holdings Berhad (“SDHB”).

2. The Account using the name and the profile picture of Dato Karim does not belong to him nor did he ever authorise the use of his name and/or profile picture to anyone especially to anyone to create false speculation amongst the public on the stocks of the SDHB which are offences that are punishable under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.

3. The comments uploaded on 2.6.2021, interalia, on the stocks of SDHB as follows:-
3.1. “hi guys, I’m back read today coming announcement”
3.2. “tomorrow I will open it at 1.5 need you all power to maintain and I’m the support”
3.3. “duduk diam diam rakan rakan. besok tengok I punya show”
were untrue, irresponsible, and maliciously motivated by unknown persons.

4. We did not and do not condone or consent for any party to impersonate or to create false account or to continue to operate and to publish comments which were detrimental to the Dato Karim and had taken steps to deactivate the Account.

5. We regret that such acts were carried out on our Website and App, and which we acknowledge may have caused reputational damage and have made reparations for the same.

6. We undertake to exercise utmost care to ensure that such publications, republication and/or any such impersonation of Dato Karim does not occur hereinafter.

7. We put all parties on strict notice that our terms of use include but not limited to:
