On 1 December 2017, an enlarged group is formed whereby S P Setia Berhad acquired the entire equity interests in I&P Group Sdn Berhad. The combined entities were under common control before the acquisition. The Group has applied the pooling of interests method in accounting for the acquisition, of which the combining entities are presented in such a manner as to depict that it had been in its resultant form for both financial years covered by the Group's financial statements. As a result, the comparatives of the Group for the financial year ended 31 December 2016 have been restated. |
