| The above profit before tax and minority interest (cumulative quarter for the current year-to-date) includes pre-acquisition net profit of RM 0.7 million. After deducting the pre-acquisition net profit, the post acquisition net profit for the cumulative quarter for the current year-to-date is RM 2.4 million, as disclosed above. The above current year-to-date basic earnings per share of 10.1 sen is computed based on the said post acquisition net profit of RM 2.1 million. The Board proposed to declare a first and final tax-exempt dividend of 0.5 sen per ordinary share in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2005 (2004:nil). The proposed dividend will subject to shareholders' approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on a date to be announced later. The date for the book closure o the Record of Depositors for determining dividend entitlement and the date of payment will be announced at a later date. |
