| We refer to the announcement made by Commerce International Merchant Bankers Berhad on behalf of KNM dated 13 August 2004 in relation to the entitlement date for the Share Split. The Bonus Shares will be allotted and issued, credited as fully paid-up, to the shareholders of KNM as at 5.00 p.m. on Thursday, 2 September 2004, on the basis of one (1) Bonus Share for every two (2) Subdivided KNM Shares to be allotted and issued pursuant to the Share Split.
