Remarks :
The following withholding tax rates would be applicable on distribution of income which is tax exempt at REIT level:

Resident unitholder:
a) Resident company: Tax flow through; thus no withholding tax
b) Unitholder other than a resident company: Withholding tax at 10%

Non-resident unitholder:
a) Non-resident company: Withholding tax at 24%
b) Non-resident institutional investor: Withholding tax at 10%
c) Non-resident other than company and institutional investors: Withholding tax at 10%

On 27 October 2023, the Board of Directors of Axis REIT Managers Berhad ("Board"), the management company of Axis Real Estate Investment Trust ("Axis-REIT"), has announced the quarterly results for the financial period ended 30 September 2023 and proposed the abovesaid 2023 Third Interim Income Distribution. The Board has determined that the income distribution reinvestment plan ("IDRP"), which allows unitholders of Axis-REIT to reinvest their income distribution in new units, will apply to the 2023 Third Interim Income Distribution. Please refer to the separate announcement on "Recurrent and Optional IDRP applicable to 2023 Third Interim Income Distribution" dated 27 October 2023 for the details of the IDRP.
