| The Capital Repayment will be on a cash basis of RM4.20 per Cancelled Share. To facilitate the Capital Repayment and cancellation of Shares, the trading of IOI Shares will be suspended with effect from 9.00 a.m. on 9 August 2007, which is three (3) clear market days prior to the Books Closing Date. Accordingly, the last time and day of trading of IOI Shares prior to suspension shall be 5.00 p.m. on 8 August 2007. In determining shareholders’ entitlements to the Capital Repayment and cancellation of Shares, fractional entitlements will be disregarded and such fractional entitlements shall be dealt with in such manner as the Board of Directors of IOI in their absolute discretion may deem fit. A Notice to Shareholders in relation to, amongst others, the Books Closing Date for the Capital Repayment and cancellation of Shares will be despatched to the shareholders of IOI in due course.
