
Samaiden signs on as solar system installer for Hong Leong's solar photovoltaic financing programme
KUALA LUMPUR: Samaiden Group Bhd's subsidiary has entered into a memorandum of understanding to be the service provider for Hong Leong Bank Bhd
's solar photovoltaic financing programme. It said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that its key role is to act as the designer and installer for the solar systems. The contract will be in effect for two years and may be renewed every two years with notice from Hong Leong Bank. "Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the MOU is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings and net assets per share of Samaiden and its subsidiaries for the duration of the MOU," said Samaiden. Before the lunch break, Samaiden was trading two sen or 1.12% lower at RM1.77 a share on the back of 1.73 million shares traded.
