Solarvest delivers 8.9MWP solar project to NTPM

KUALA LUMPUR: Solarvest Holdings Bhd has delivered an additional 8.9 Megawatt peak (MWp) solar project to Nibong Tebal Paper Mill Sdn Bhd (NTPM).

The cumulative RM27 million solar project, which commenced operations on Dec 31, 2023, will power NTPM’s facilities across Nibong Tebal, Penang, and Parit Buntar, Perak, respectively.

"With the fully energised project, NTPM would be able to effectively monitor and reduce their carbon emissions, a move that will help the company comply with Bursa Malaysia requirements for listed companies to report on their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions,” it said in a statement today.
