KUALA LUMPUR: Ni Hsin EV Tech Sdn Bhd (Ni Hsin EV Tech), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ni Hsin Group Bhd launched its EBIXON EV motorcycles in Sarawak today.

Ni Hsin EV Tech managing director Khoo Chee Kong said the company is honoured to have the blessings and support of the Sarawak State Government to expand its EV motorcycles market into East Malaysia in close collaboration with MYUS Autotech Sdn. Bhd (MYUS).

The launch ceremony was officiated by Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Sarawak, Datuk Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah at the Borneo Cultures Museum accompanied by Deputy Minister for Tourism Sarawak Datuk Sebastian Ting.

"We believe the prevalent use of these environment friendly electric motorcycles (EBIXON) will lead Malaysia towards green development, mitigation of climate change and green lifestyle aiding the fulfillment of the Government's objective to achieve Carbon Neutral by 2050," he said in a statement today.

MYUS executive chairman Datuk Nellsen Young said the company recognises the potential of electric motorcycles in enhancing sustainable tourism, and MYUS is committed to providing alternative transportation options for both the locals and tourists in Sarawak.
