KUALA LUMPUR: KGW Group Bhd's subsidiary, KGW Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and Infinite Victory Consultancy Sdn Bhd (IVCSB) to build an e-commerce ecosystem for UTHM's students.

The plan is to involve students in eBusiness, import and export business through IVCSB, a UTHM spin-off company which aims to transform technological inventions developed from research conducted by researchers of UTHM to a potentially commercialized product which at the same time can generate income for both the spin-off company and UTHM.

The purpose of this MoA is to establish the Enterprise Trade Hub. This collaboration is designed to empower students with a hands-on learning experience in the world of logistics and e-commerce.

The MoA is not expected to have any material effects on the net asset and gearing of the group for the financial year ending December 31, 2023.
