KUALA LUMPUR: The external auditor of YGL Convergence Bhd has voluntarily resigned due to a disagreement over audit fees.

Messrs. Moore Stephens Associates PLT’s (Moore Stephens) term of office will end after 21 days from the date of notice, March 1, YGL said in a filing with the stock exchange.

“The resignation of Moore Stephens is on a voluntary basis as the company and Moore Stephens could not reach a consensus on the proposed increase of the audit fees covering the financial statements for the financial year ending March 31, 2023 of the company and some of its subsidiaries,” it said.
