The partnership with Sermatec — a BloombergNEF Tier 1 global energy storage manufacturer — is aimed at supporting the increasing energy infrastructure demands of large-scale solar systems and electric vehicle (EV) charging networks in Asean
CEB is alrdy familiar with the BESS industry. They’ve worked with EV chargers, smart utility data collection, and wireless communication devices. This new collaboration will bring in solid revenue for the company
serious question: CEB annoucement mentioned "FULL assembly of BESS will be move to senai plant", this FULL assembly meaning for ASEAN region only or Sermatec 100% BESS assembly is now moved to senai johor? cos chinese newspaper looks like reporting differently ChinaPress: "根据文告,采日能源科技将把电池储能系统(BESS) 的全部组装工作转移到 纵横集团位于柔佛士乃的工厂"......if ALL work from sermatec then it would be huge leh, since this company also have quite a large customer pool and have signed a 15 years contract with CEB on O&M.....
ASEAN market itself is big already... what i see is maybe they will focus more on motorcycle ev system which is more suitable in country like Indonesia Philippines etc... unless the chinese manufacturer wants to move their production outside china to cater for foreign tariff projection in future..
Cape EMS will serve as Shanghai Sermatec’s regional partner to produce, test and manage Bess products tailored for the South-East Asian market. They will provide robust lifecycle coverage for institutional and commercial clients.
Although the QR is not really nice but remains positive in this Tariffs and SST era consider good and can see management good efforts to maintain and expand the business...keep it up. Will continue support and hold the shares.
