the only one who says no and not viable is PH government. the ego not to say yes as the project idea from previous administrative. since when PPP projects like PLUS highways etc viable in short term? and government guarantee needed by private consortium ie special treats, land swap, guarantee no other project could compete HSR in long run etc. that's all.

@Bryan Do u study construction sector before? Extra reward like land exchange or priority in other project are common way for construction company to take back money, I duno why PH government so many problem keep azi azo. Government save cost, we enjoy infrastructure, construction company profit, win-win situation but now PH government wan act smart to "save cost". Malaysia already become joke in international when Mahatir act smart by breach contract to China last time

@Bryan set non-sense term and feel u r very smart can save cost? Scholars already remind early that this term not reasonable, but PH still think they can save cost, then tender for what? Do by itself can save more cost lol
