Ranhill signed a LSS4 @ Mentari, Photovoltaic Power Purchase Agreement (“PPA”)TNB today for the construction and operation of a 50MWa.c. Solar Photovoltaic Energy Generating Facility.

The energy produced by the Facility will be sold under a long-term PPA, directly to TNB for 21 years from the commercial operation date. Under the contract, Ranhill will design, construct, own, operate, and maintain solar photovoltaic energy generating facility with a capacity of 50MWa.c. at Batang Padang, Perak.

This contract will provide Ranhill with a recurring income until 2042. The 21 years concession is expected to contribute positively to Ranhill’s bottom line, and the construction of the facility is expected to start before the end of 2021.
