Real time situation, vaccination program rollout is too slow, which immunity last 6-9 months only. The number of people to get jabbed again is back to square one if inoculation is slow.

With the slow vaccination worldwide due to low acceptance and limited production, there will be those people who get vaccinated also can get infected and be a carrier to spread to others. So called vaccine travel passport is actually a pass to infect more people.

Take away is, even though there are so called vaccines, but they do not serve the purpose of stopping the infection chain. So the question is, do we really have a viable vaccine?

Unfortunately something have to be done and vaccination is the logical thing to stop severe symptomatic infection, it is uncertain that vaccination could bring more harm long term, only time will tell

Healthcare stocks will remain profitable for long time, regardless

Vaccine is our best bet to get out of this situation. Unfortunately negative news, real or fake, about vaccine keep circulating online...

vaccination is definitely a solution. another Is the cure. In regard to vaccine, there is no viable vaccine that actually serve the purpose of breaking the chain. in fact, it actually make the society to let down their guard psychologically. when it comes to Human managing, we need to be conservative when it comes to expectation.

Like what you said, it is a bet, thus risks exist. One of the reason that led to an outrageous return of the virus is the overly optimistic calls by all sources.

EXACTLY! this whole pandemic chronology is similar to Spanish flu history. economy hits and unable to close, people are psychologically tired and gave up. lasted for years. we should learn something from there.

Problem is the virus mutates n the vaccine becomes ineffective

History just finds its way to cycle again and again, I guess we can get used to it as there is a saying, the market can stay irrational longer than you can remain solvent. To some extent, people's mind works similarly.

Mutation that renders the vaccine less effective was contributory. When Pfizer first announce the product, prior to market release, they have said before that the vaccinated can still be infected.
