Annual Net profit Forecast for Dnex after completed the Oil Ping & Silterra acquisition might reach 100M annually in future if could turn Silterra around based on my personal forecast: -
Energy: 40 M (year 2017 Dnex generate about 15-20M net profit with 30 % ping)
NSW = 30 M (monopoly, this potential go higher as export in Malaysia higher)
RFID & VEP = 5M (border open will increase this sector)
MOF system maintenance = 10 M (yearly contract 52M,20 %NPM, IA consulting also have quite number of project)
Cable project = 2M (12M project just announced, 20 %NPM, this potential go higher as Dnex expert in this area)
Silterra = ?
Without Silterra : 40 + 30 + 5 + 10 + 2 = 87 M
If Silterra could turn around add another 10 -20 M, mean Dnex can generate more than 100 M annually. Dnex generated 57M net profit in 2017 with good oil price(60 USD)
In Bursa there is not much tech company could generate net profit more than 100M, can check UWC, greatec,frontkn,dufu,penta all also never generate net profit more than 100M. This is main reason I still keep DNEX. Hope oil price stable, Dnex turn Siltera around and Get more cable service project.
The oil price was increased >60% since Nov 20 and now, the company started to secure new project {under sea cable} and extended project {NSW}, this will help DNEX revenue and profit increase gradually, quarter by quarter. Once the Ping 60% acquisition completed, there will be another jump in revenue and profit. Next year, with full economy recovery, the oil price expected to stay at higher range. Stay tune.
there are few stocks that i missed, likes frontkn, dufu, and i will not let go dnex easily this time. unless syed zainal step down then that will be other story..haha
extractly....fontkn 20cent to rm4 ,dufu 30cent to rm3... within 3 years they proven that.. now the key if Dnex could turn Siterra around .definelty Dnex worth more than that... just depend you believe on Dnex management team or not... Dnex pass 2 years not doing so well is drag by oil sector, now oil recovery plus new MD from petronas, I believe it will go stronger and Dnex management team Nithyanandan Anthony, has been selected best CIO 200 award. Dnex proven strong fundamental in IT sector ...
jack..Dnex only need right people to steer them. honestly, i grab it not mainly because silterra. the reason is they willing to change. how i know? when they started brought in correct people into the team.
@Dan ,not sure what your entry price but dnex higher close is below 1.0 so far.. from 1.0 to current price only 10% correction. that is very normal as the share price bull run from 0.2 till now... so correction is normal.. no share could go all the way up without correction. just manage your risk......
pass few days the son is under value with negative premium of conversion, so there are some warrant covert to mother with paying 50cents to the company....Also I think the price need to stay around this range in order for Dnex complete the PP.... if price too high will be hard for investor to take up the pp... once the pp over the share price should be recover....Dnex need more fund from investor for Silterra and Ping oil.. So conversion of warrant also positive for Dnex cash flow...
DNEX can hold for long term. once get Silterra to join. wipe out the typical GLC col...... Sure can earn money. no doubt. I bought and seldom come to see the price. The most high tech company in Malaysia. scare what. Ha ha.
@太公 , cannot be too optimistic, btw as long as Silterra not making loss for starting point , it is good progress already.. I believe China partner will help to turn it around as well...
Despite being criticised back in the day for being unprofitable to the sovereign wealth fund which led to rumours of it being disposed, he said now the company has had an average revenue of RM600mil and profit of RM60mil, for three consecutive years. — Bernama 25th Mar 2019
SilTerra’s fab orders for this year were already filled last December. “We don’t have to do any more sales this year. In fact, we have raised prices, and people are still coming to us,” says Tan {in recent interviews}
